In a nutshell:  Looks at cost & consequences of proximal femoral fractures requiring further surgery due to complications.  Data was collected from 2257 patients (2360 fractures) with a femoral fracture who presented to the trauma unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital between March 2003 and February 2008.
