Cost-effectiveness of hip replacements in England

In a nutshell:  Researchers estimated the average cost per quality adjusted life year (QALY) gained from hip surgery for NHS patients in England.  The average NHS hospital hip procedure costs were estimate to be £5844.  There was significant variation in cost per QALY.
