3-D printed protein-infused scaffold could repair damaged meniscus

In a nutshell:  Researchers have devised a way to replace the meniscus, using a personalised 3D-printed scaffold, infused with human growth factors that prompt the body to regenerate the lining on its own. The therapy, has been successfully tested in sheep.
