In a nutshell: The National Hip Fracture Database has published a booklet for patients, their families and caregivers detailing what to expect before, during and after surgery for hip fracture. Topics include pain relief and rehabilitation. It includes a list of questions patients should consider asking the medical team in order to improve their understanding of the patient journey.
