In a nutshell: The authors of this article have developed a scoring system called the Readmission Risk Assessment Tool (RRAT) as part of a Perioperative Orthopaedic Surgical Home model. They found that the RRAT score had a significant association with readmission after joint arthroplasty and could be a clinically useful tool for risk mitigation.
