In a nutshell:  Aimed to analyse whether time to surgery in hip fracture patients is associated with longer than expected length of stay and whether there is any particular group in which this is especially relevant, finding that increasing time to surgery leads to longer than expected length of stay, particularly in moderately dependent patients.
